The names are pronounced correctly.
First off, this book is so good that I bought the kindle version AND the audiobook. I’ve always loved Julie, Derek is *chefs kiss*, and nothing about this story was disappointing. If you liked KD even a little, you will love BH.
The print version is amazing, but the audiobook adds so much nuance to the story, it somehow makes whole experience better. I want book 2 so bad I could die.
And for the record, THE NAMES ARE PRONOUNCED CORRECTLY. Look, before you go on a tirade, do your due diligence. The authors’ blog will bring you to a post about the audiobook version, the narrator (who is fabulous), and how the authorlords used this new series as an opportunity to CORRECT words that were mispronounced in the KD series.
But even if you’re used to certain words being pronounced certain ways, this book should still be ✨amazing✨
Incredible new storyline arc!
This book had me glued to it from beginning to end! The twists and turns of the story remind me of why I buy Ilona Andrews novels! If you like Kate Daniels books, you will love this!

Loved Storyline, reader ok.But FOR GOD’S SAKE, HAVE THE READER READ MAGIC BREAKS FOR LIST OF CHARACTERS AND NAMES CORRECTLY READ BY RENEE R. YOU NEARLY SCREWED UP THIS AUDIOBOOK AS BADLY AS IRON and MAGIC: IRON COVENANT, BOOK 1.

ANYBODY CAN READ, IT TAKES A SPECIAL DILIGENT READER TO RESEARCH THE CHARACTERS OF MULTIPLE THOUSANDS OF SOLD BOOKS.
just sayin’ I spend most of my extra money on audiobooks and you guys aren’t earning your money by not doing simple due diligence. Whomever made these editorial changes, NEEDS TO BE FIRED OR REASSIGNED TO PROOFREADING.
