Strong Characters Intriguing World
I picked up this book to try a new author amidst my favorite genre. Suffice it to say I keep returning to read it again and again. The world Ryan created is captivating. I finally downloaded the audio version so I’d could listen while commuting to and from work. I can never hear enough of Vaelin’s story. The narrator for the audio version seems to capture the gravity of the storyline. After listening to this one I promptly downloaded Tower Lord and Queen of Fire.
Anthony Ryan has fleshed our an amazing world. Would love to see him explore the backstories and/or side stories of the other orders.
