Lee Child’s 24th Jack Reacher novel is a thrilling adventure that wastes little time getting to the action. While on a Greyhound bus trip, the army-vet-turned-vigilante stumbles into a turf war between Albanian and Ukrainian gangs after trying to help out an elderly couple. Veteran audiobook performer Scott Brick narrates his second Reacher novel—after longtime narrator Dick Hill’s retirement—and he brings a steady voice to all the violence, double crosses, and broken alliances. We were enthralled as much by the carefully drawn characters as we were by the unrelenting, visceral thrills, and the tense setup reminded us of the classic spaghetti Westerns. Blue Moon is better than a to-go cup of coffee for perking up your morning commute.

Blue moon
While THe storyline was interesting, I found it too much of an exaggeration that one guy could take on an entire organized crime group from two countries and come out alive and without a scratch. I realize it’s fiction, but a little bit too much.
Terrible story
I have read a few of the reacher series books, this one is by far the worst and not in the same league as the rest.
Once in a blue moon
I am a fan of Lee Child, but this particular book was a bit boring and much too much detail. Not a good read.
