Brutal Arrangement: Brutal Billionaires, Book 3 (Unabridged‪)‬

Alex and Riah are just so perfect together. Gah their chemistry is so Hawt. The banter, had me cracking up.
I did not forget about Hunter, as for him he was just not it for her in so many ways and their relationship was a business relationship that benefited both of them in their own way. They’re so much more to say, but I do not want to spoil it for you all.
Let me just say that Laurelin did not disappoint, like always. A must read or listen!!!!!

Brutal Arrangement is the 3rd book in Laurelin series Brutal Billionaires but is a complete standalone. I haven’t read the other books in the series but I will be going back to doing so.

This story is just delicious. Riah Watson was music singer who had to put her career on hold to take care of her family. We follow her on this roller coaster with her boyfriend Hunter who doesn’t see her worth. He’s in it for him. An arrangement of convenience turns into the best fake cheating trope. Step in Alex (Hunters Brother) who see’s Riah’s worth and shows her little by little who she truly is. Alex is well, a broody billionaire, a true alpha- hole. But, he’s playing for keeps. The banter, push, pull, dirty talk, the degradation kink unlocked and sprinkle the underlying tension and chemistry that these two have and they will have you flipping the pages so fast. Elena Wolfe, Robert Hatchet, J.F. Harding, Sarah Pederson. They all hit it out of the park. The characterization changes were just what the doctor ordered. The engagement to the characters was well done and I couldn’t stop listening I was hooked. Great read and listen

The narrators of Brutal Arrangement are magnificent! Robert Hatchet as Alex embodies the perfect Yin and Yang that is the mercurial billionaire. He brings out the perfect mix of jerk and vulnerable that is Alex. Really just perfect. His bass tone was just enough sexy to bring it home in what we love on our romantic heroes.

Elena Wolfe is a staple, great narrator for me. Her voice exudes strength and unguarded softness. She brought Riah to life exceptionally. Her musicality is a plus, especially with this story line. Hearing a narrator sing was a first for me and I was pleasantly surprised!

J.F. Harding - he is Hunter Sebastian personified. If hearing a smug smirk is possible - he has that down to a science. His ability to pull off entitled, spoiled and crass is like no other. He is a “new-to-me” narrator and I will look for him in more of my Audible picks. Truly fantastic!

And finally, Sarah Pederson - She added to this story line fittingly. She brought the attitude of any loving teenager seemingly. You could feel Whitney’s strength of conviction whenever she stood by her opinions. And it also transcended into her love and loyalty for Riah. She is the perfect sister side kick.

This ensemble really made Brutal Arrangement a distinct story for me. Reading and listening to this book were two vastly different experiences. This cast made the sexiness, betrayal, and love tangible. I’m so glad I got to listen to it. Bravo to these narrators! Their performances are truly extraordinary.
