Enjoyable for Anyone Interested in Spiritual Matters
East or West, religious or spiritual, if you have an interest in the relationship of people to their spirituality you will enjoy this new book from Deepak Chopra. This is not a dry reading of ancient scriptures. Mr. Chopra has written an engaging and fascinating account of the life of Buddha which is immediately accessible without any prior knowledge of Buddhism or Eastern spiritual traditions. Having it read by the author adds immediacy and dramatic effect which I very much enjoyed. It is almost like reading a play. I think Mr. Chopra excels at turning arcane spiritual concepts into very graspable ideas that will stimulate your own thinking. It's very hard to break away from this audio program! If you are interested in, or already practicing aspects of Buddhism, this will be extra enjoyable to gain insight and put some flesh on the historical figure. Enjoy!

Not only a well written but exceptionally well read by the author. A great audiobook to get an introduction into the origins myth of Buddhism.
