Hot-as-sin!
Feisty Cajun chef Bianca Hardwick and surly bad boy billionaire Jackson Boudreaux are two of the most fascinating characters I have ever had the pleasure to meet. In this enemies to lovers storyline reminiscent of Disney's popular Beauty and the Beast fairytale, it takes a very special woman like Bianca to look behind the mask of superiority that Jackson wears. I loved the New Orleans setting and the delightful supporting characters that make up Bianca's extended family as well as Jackson's delightful pseudo-father figure, Rayford. And that slow build up of simmering sexual attraction that culminates in oh-my-gawd, fan-my-face shower sex was absolutely hot-as-sin and well worth waiting for! But most of all I was absolutely spellbound by the growing emotional connection between these two lovers and the vulnerability they were finally able to share really touched my heart. These are characters that will stay with me for a very long time to come.
