William Gibson's writing was so new and original that an entire genre was born in its wake: cyberpunk. These were stories he wrote before Neuromancer, for the most part. They're sharp and incisive, with an edge to them that may not always carry through in the narration. But nevertheless these are top-notch stories. Come listen to the birth of cyberpunk. They're as powerful now as they were when they were the day they were written. Many have imitated his style, none have surpassed it.
