Caine's Reckoning
I have over 200 unabridged audio books in my itunes library. This book is my first review. I devour books seldom even paying attention to the author name of even the name of the book I am reading. I LOVED this book so much I even looked up on the web when the next book in this series would be available (late june). I can not wait !!! What a wonderful old fashioned historical romance with just the perfect mix of humor, strong characters, and love play. This is the first in a long series and I will wait with high hopes for any book by this wonder author, narrator combination.
I loved it!!
This book is one of the best I have read in a long time. It had excitement, action, and the struggles of loving after tragic events had made it almost impossible to love or trust again. The characters were engaging and the story was gripping. I did not want to stop, just keep going until I got to the end. I would recommend this book to everyone and am looking forward to future books in the Hell's Eight series.
