This great northern adventure of cunning, endurance and survival tells of the Klondike Gold Rush days through the eyes of a very special dog. Raised as the top dog on a California ranch, Buck lives a good life until he is stolen away one night and sold as a sled dog. Buck's trials in the Far North explore both the cruelty and kindness of man. His tale of determination, strength, and loyalty is a timeless classic for the whole family.

This audiobook is not the full version of the book. It skips complete sections very often. What was most disappointing was it skipped the dialogue. I am a teacher and was hoping to use parts of this in my classroom so they could hear a different voice than my own but there is no way I will be able to do this and explain what sections are skipped. If you are looking just to get the main idea if the book i think you would het away with that on this audio. The narrator's voice is pretty good.

I was listening to the audio as I read along in the book, and there were some pretty big gaps where the audio would skip to a completely different page. Frustrating.
I wasted my money on this!
