Interesting mafia story
This was an Interesting story. I’ve never read a book quite like this. Very twisted in a mafia way. Choosing to into the mafia lifestyle, Carrie a.k.a. Ash a.k.a. Carrie enters. And there everything begins. This is a great audio to listen to. I read the book and listening to it with a completely different experience. I would definitely recommend. The narrators did an excellent job. Please check your trigger warnings.

This was an unexpected five star. I seriously couldn’t tell if I even liked a thing about this, but the more I read, the more I wanted to read. And that was how I knew this was a good one.
I’ve read other mafia books, even some from this author, but this one was definitely more gritty than her other works. And not in a bad way. It felt like she dove down deep and really embraced the genre as a whole.
I liked characters I didn’t think I would, even some that I originally disliked, they grew on me.
Wild. This was a wild ride, and I enjoyed it. I can’t wait to see what’s coming after this.

So I will start off by saying I love the narrators, I think they did a good job. I'm not sure how I feel about the story, because there are some parts I liked, some parts I didn't. It was fast paced at certain parts, then slow paced and sometimes dragging out. It may be the mood I was feeling while I was reading/listening so I may go back to it later.
