Customer Reviews
Fun and charismatic characters!
This is a wonderful and sometimes maddening story. I loved some of these characters...then just as easily hated like really hated a few of them. As you can see this takes you on a roller coaster of emotion. I won’t tell you which characters I learned to hate or despise. Because remember....I liked them at the beginning.
Callie was great! I loved her “I love firemen” ideas. She has wonderful friends. Jill and Alisha met Callie in college and have been besties ever since. Their group texting is hilarious! Plus all the times they hang out together is fun too. Kiki is an eccentric older lady. She is as full of tattoos and she is stories. I really enjoyed her attitude, thoughts and friendship to the characters. The fire boys are something else. They have the hot bods and the six or eight pack as well as that V thing going on. They are devious, smarmy and sexy. This really gave me a different look into the whole firefighter thing.
This is my first book by this author. I was drawn in by the fun and charismatic characters. As well as saddened by all they went through. Savannah Peachwood, as narrator, did an AMAZING job! She had all the perfect inflections in her voice. It made listening to this really fun.
