In Chased By Love:
Actress Trish Ryder takes her job seriously, and has no time for those who don't. When she's awarded a major role in a new movie featuring America's hottest rock star, Boone Stryker, she's beyond excited. The six-two, tattooed hunk of burning desire, is known for his dedication to his craft - but when he ditches their first meeting, she begins to wonder if he's just another rocker with a great PR team.
Raw and Emotional
I love Trish and Boone!! Trish is an actress who takes her job seriously and expects those working with her to do so too. Boone is a rock star who is branching into the acting world and trying to deal with family drama at the same time. Trish is afraid that Boone is not putting 100% into his part and Boone is just trying to do his best and keep everyone happy.
These two are so raw and real. You can relate to them or know someone who does The story is emotional and leaves you falling in love with them. The audio version of this book is just as good as the e-book. BJ Harrison really makes these characters come alive and you get sucked into their world. He makes is so you don't want to book to end and don't want to leave their world.
I read Chased by Love back in 2016. I just listened to the audiobook. I love the narration of BJ Harrison. I listen to audiobooks while driving to and from work.
Boone is a hot rock star with a bad boy reputation, However, things are not always what they seem. Boone happens to be caring, protective and he loves his family.
Trish is a Hollywood actress wh has a secret crush on Boone but thinks he is a womanizer When they come together they are such a great couple.
My Thoughts on Chased by Love
Actress Trish Ryder met her match in musician Boone Stryker and it was such a sweet story.
One thing I've come to love and appreciate about Melissa Foster books is the true build up of the plot, the characters, and the whole world. Even when I've moved from one group of friends or family, or maybe the setting changes to a different town, there's always this great sense of connection. I feel connected to the leading characters, their romance, and often their families. You really get to know these people and this story was no different.
Trisha and Boone may have been brought together to play characters in a movie, but you quickly got to know them and what made them tick. And you watched their romance unfold slowly and could see the foundation it would be built on come to life. Plus you get to meet or revisit with their family members and see the love and loyalty there.
BJ Harrison is once again the narrator for this one. I really have no complaints about his voice and think he's a very good narrator. I would like to see a fresh voice in future for some of this author's books though as it has been the same for every one I've listened to so far.
