Second or Third Chance?
This audiobook is narrated perfectly bringing the book to life by JF Harding and Erin Mallon. Delaney and Bennett were high school sweethearts but when she overheard part of a conversation between Bennett and his mother and misunderstood it. She went away to college and decided that they couldn't do a long distance relationship. They meet again when they are working for the same company and Bennett is separated from his wife. She ends up getting pregnant so they decide to try again and go back to Willowbrook. Delaney ends up being pregnant by Bennett also but he's already left. She's seeing another guy and he offers to raise her daughter as his own. Things don't work out for them since he's a scam artist and ends up in prison so she moves back to Willowbrook. Bennett is a single dad now since his wife died in childbirth. What will happen when Bennett finds out that Delaney's daughter is his, too? I had so many feelings listening to this book. Piper Rayne really knows how to write the emotional scenes. I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series.
