Chasing Wild

I am so loving this series! Summer is so happy here with her store and her life. When strange things start happening to her she can’t understand who would do this. Along comes sexy cop Chase Wild. Chase has been biding his time waiting for a chance with Summer. This isn’t exactly the way but maybe now the timing is right. I couldn’t put this audio down. Loved the narrators!

I absolutely loved Chasing Wild by Kristen Proby, it is an incredible friends to lovers, he falls first love story. It is the second book in her The Wilds of Montana series. Once again Kristen Proby shows that she is an amazing storyteller. Kristen Proby is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors to read. It was impossible to put Chasing Wild down and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? My favorite part is how the title of the book and the picture on the cover are incorporated into the love story. Chasing Wild is the story of Chase Wild, small town cop and cowboy and Summer Quinn, owner of Paula’s Posey’s. Summer relocated to Bitterroot Valley from Missoula after finding her boyfriend Dennis in bed with her best friend, Lyla, five years ago. Summer would vacation in Bitterroot Valley and stay with her aunt Paula, the original owner of Paula’s Posey’s. Chase was immediately attracted to Summer when she moved to Bitterroot Valley, but she was not interested in getting involved with anyone. Summer hears someone trying to break into her home and calls 911. Chase responds to the call. He has cameras installed the following day to make Summer feel more at ease. Chase is a carpenter in his spare time and has agreed to make an arbor and bar for Erin and Rem’s wedding. He asks Summer for her opinion about the arbor, I love that he calls her “Blondie.” As Summer and Chase spend time together things quickly heat up between the two of them. I love it when he takes her to the ranch and shows her the location where he plans to build his home. I like all the suggestions that Summer rambles on about when she visits the property with Chase. I like it when they go hiking together and then end up near where he will build his house. I love the sizzling chemistry between Summer and Chase. I love the easy banter of the conversations between them that flows so easily, I love that both Summer and Chase share secrets with one another that they have not shared with anyone, Summer shared secrets from her parents and her last relationship with Dennis. I love that Chase either has lunch delivered to Summer and her workers or delivers it himself. I love that he takes care of Summer. I love Summer’s French bulldog, Lily and how she has become enamored with Chase. Mysterious events are occurring that affect Summer and her property. Evan Spencer, an attorney with an office beside Paula’s Posey’s is interested in a relationship with Summer, Summer does not feel the same for Evan. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in Chasing Wild. I love everything that Chase did to help Summer feel safe while someone is vandalizing her property and prowling around her home. I loved that Chasing Wild is more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Summer and Chase are facing that need to be resolved and the plot twist that threatens Summer’s life and livelihood. I was incredibly surprised to discover who was behind the mysterious occurrences involving Summer. I love that there were multiple storylines: especially Summer and Chase’s love story and Erin and Rem’s wedding. I love how all the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I loved Erin and Rem’s “small” wedding! I love the ending of the love story, and how both Summer and Chase change because of their love for one another. I love Chase’s proposal and the location of the proposal. Another favorite part is the epilogue that reveals the identity of the next Wild sibling. I really enjoy how the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Chasing Wild is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. Chasing Wild is filled with all those things that I have come to love and expect in a Kristen Proby love story, and she did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Chasing Wild is filled with poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists that I have come to love and expect in a Kristin Proby love story. I love the family dynamic in Chasing Wild, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Wild siblings and the Montgomery family. It feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved all the characters in Chasing Wild, who does not love a small-town cop/cowboy who falls first. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series. Love catching up with the Montgomerys. Loved the descriptions of Bitterroot Valley, Montana, makes me want to visit. Highly recommend this incredible love story.
