After getting irritated with complains about Durga's pranks, her mother, Sumati closes her inside the house and doesn't allow her to go out. She involves her in the house chores like cooking food etc. One day, while trying to lit the fire in hearth, she blows wind with such a speed that the fire catches stuffs in the house.
