More textbook than story
If you’re looking for a very complete, dry history of the great flying boats, this is it. It is very detailed and thorough. However, it is a little dry. The author makes no attempt to tell a story. That isn’t bad, it’s a style choice. If you can live with that choice, you’ll learn a lot about a great moment in the history of flight.
