China Doll (Unabridged‪)‬

Yesterday Bob Baker had cleaned the house and placed a vase of wild flowers on the table, as well as a tablecloth. He made sure all the lamps were full of oil and that there was plenty of wood brought in to use in the stoves and fire place. It was early fall and the early mornings and late evenings were starting to grow cold. Bob was preparing for a very special day. For today his mail order bride would be arriving by coach.
