good all around
The narrator is good and he voices each character well. The structure of the story is filled with tense moments and the ending provides great closure. It's a fine book to start the Lucas Davenport series with if your not familiar. And if you know you like his stories then you'll really enjoy it.

I love the John Sandford and Richard Ferrone combination. They are a perfect fit. This story is intense and electric. Sandford has a way of making me feel engaged with each of his characters. Buy the book. It will be worth your time and money.
