Excellent Series
Awesomeness
The narrator was monotoned.
The first book, that narrator was better than this one. This narrator for the second book was monotoned and didn’t give the male characters any personality. Jace is meant to sound British, and Luke close to Scottish/British. And none of the other characters have their own voice. Pretty bland.
The book overall is great!
Not worth it if you bought the first audible book
The first book was read by an excellent narrator, she played out each voice and gave them the accents they were said to have spoken in. This narrator sounds like she has an awful cold, and she reads as if each voice is the exact same. You can barely tell when she is switching from person to person in their conversations. I’m very disappointed that I paid the same price that I paid for the first one, when clearly this one was NOT WORTH IT.
