The forgotten war
Americans tend to forget the war in Korea even though is was one of the most brutal battles in US history. This is a record of some of those unsung heroes who fought and died at Chosin Reservoir under some of the most gruelling weather conditions. Great narration of battle scenes and suffering cold.

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and I would (and have) recomend it to anyone wanting to get a idea of what the guys went through at the Chosin Reservoir. Purchase with confidence. I would say similar things about this book that I did for "The Last Stand of Fox Company."
A real eye opener...
What an excellent book! I've read this book four times and listening to it is even better. My grandfather never talked about his time in Korea or in the Marines at all and thanks to Joe Owen's book I now know all about what kind of Marine my grandfather (Capt. Wilcox) was. Semper Fi!
