Something for Everyone

Originally, I thought I was getting advice from one perspective; but the book turned out to be much more.

The first section caught my attention on the preview but caused me to lose a bit of interest. However, the next speaker caught my attention and had much valuable insight, which she delivered with humor. I found that there is a compilation of professional speakers with different approaches to achieving charisma. Even they sound different: some down home country and others corporate business types. But all had succeeded at being nationally and even internationally known speakers on this topic.

There is much useful information here, so I will certainly listen to the book again.

more for sales & motivation then skills

I was looking for help to improve my networking skills and overcome my shyness and thought this book would be perfect but ended up being disappointed in this work- it goes not live up to the official description official given. It's actually a compilation of recorded programs by various experts on sales & communication. They all say the key to success is how you present yourself and react to people but very few of the experts teach you how to the build communication and networking skills to achieve it. Majority of what is discussed in this work I learned in psych 101 and career day in school.
