Publisher Description
From New York Times best-selling author, Penelope Douglas, comes a new stand-alone!
Three of them, one of her, and a remote cabin in the woods. Let the hot winter nights ensue....
Tiernan de Haas doesn’t care about anything anymore. The only child of a film producer and his starlet wife, she’s grown up with wealth and privilege but not love or guidance. Shipped off to boarding schools from an early age, it was still impossible to escape the loneliness and carve out a life of her own. The shadow of her parents’ fame followed her everywhere.
And when they suddenly pass away, she knows she should be devastated. But has anything really changed? She’s always been alone, hasn’t she?
Jake Van der Berg, her father’s stepbrother and her only living relative, assumes guardianship of Tiernan who is still two months shy of 18. Sent to live with him and his two sons, Noah and Kaleb, in the mountains of Colorado, Tiernan soon learns that these men now have a say in what she chooses to care and not care about anymore.
As the three of them take her under their wing, teach her to work and survive in the remote woods far away from the rest of the world, she slowly finds her place among them.
And as a part of them.
She also realizes that lines blur and rules become easy to break when no one else is watching.
One of them has her.
The other one wants her.
But he....
He’s going to keep her.
*Credence is a full length, stand-alone romance suitable for listeners 18+.

Amazing Writing, Interesting Ending
I actually really liked this book, to me, spice with certain characters wasn’t truly necessary and I don’t quite like how the ending was tied up as it seemed like some of the relationships were rushed to hurry and close the plot (you’ll know when you listen bc I was so confused and was like ??). But the writing was amazing and I ADORE Tiernan because she deserves EVERYTHING. Of course the tropes in this book are not for the faint of heart and I would’ve preferred less of a play on Tiernan’s young-ness/SA but try this book out for yourself bc the inner dialogue is so well written! Okay, I’m done I swear—
WHAT DO I DO NOW?!
I’m obsessed with this book!!!! I feel so empty now. I have lived and breathed this book for a few days now and now that I am done… I don’t know what to do with myself. I loved every second of this book and I LOVE each of the characters. I have no idea what I can read now to fill this empty void. READ THIS BOOK. All I gotta say.
A million times, YESSSS!
Maybe I’m the freak, but All the people saying this is cringy are snowflakes… I did not want this book to end. Out of ALLLLL the books I have read, this has to be the best. I literally couldn’t fall asleep at night because I wanted to keep reading!!
Spice: 17/10 *Chefs Kiss*🤌🏻💋❤️🔥
The story line is so real, it’s not like a fairytale or fantasy.
