Quite simply one of my very favorites series!!
I have enjoyed this author's work for a long while, but just recently purchased a copy of Crossroads in paperback before these lovely new covers came about. The old covers drew me in then with their beauty, but I'm loving the new covers in a whole new way. Absolutely Beautiful!!! And ... the story, well it is difficult to describe how something can be so beautifully told while simultaneously ripping your heart out, crushing your soul, & still leave you begging for more! I tend to be a lightweight when it comes to emotional scenes, but I have not been brought to tears so fiercely in some time. Although I assure you it was worth every drop. I could not put this book down & immediately opened up book 2, Between. (Which I finished less than a day later.)

If you are a fan of forbidden love, action packed fight scenes, comedy, suspense, romance, angels, fallen, demon slayers, or any combination of the above then this book is a must read! And if you happen to not be a fan of any of those ... this might just be the book to change that. ;)
