Crushing

This is heart felt and transparent and shows what a beautiful thing a father’s love is as the Heavenly Father is! Amazing book!

December 23, 2013, my life changed forever!!
Due to trauma from a car accident I loss both of my legs and have spinal cord injuries from my skull to C5!! Yes, two weeks after my thirtieth birthday my crushing season begin. I don’t have the space to tell it all but would love to share more with Bishop Jakes and the world!!

In this crushing season, feeling hopeless, afraid, lost, responsible, ashamed, uncertain, inadequate, confused, faced addictions, mental illness and ready to GIVE UP!! I had no life just existing for 5 years!

I was naive to what was taking place in my life, dare not imagine an outlet to this crushing process!!

I was oblivious to creating success again within this new way of life! I tried for many years to change my perspective but every time I was right at the hem of his garment- my reach wasn’t enough!

The power changers

“Grieving is not the time to look for answers. It takes all your energy just to survive the turbulence of the loss” WOW! I finally feel like someone understands. I have never felt so much compassion than from these two sentences!! The story of Job mirrors my situation!! I didn’t feel as much compassion and I became resentful due to lack of understanding! I had no time to heal..

Instead, I was forced to jump back into life without a blueprint to embark on a new life! Financially physically and mentally my life changed!! My hurt lead to a disastrous season!

I managed infliction mentally and physically!! Yet, I know faith allows freedom.

What irony that during my stretch of hope I download the book and EVERYTHING I NEED IS RIGHT HERE! Tangible for me to gather, simple enough to understand and deserving enough to accept and incorporate!! clarity

MY LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!! I AM A SURVIVOR, PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY AND SPIRITUALLY!! It all makes sense now! I find comfort in knowing this is truly part of the process I continue to trust !

This book is a reflection of my entire life. I have struggled for years as a Christian and have gone threw attacks from the devil. He has turned people close to me away. However, I still stand on his word. I lost everything in this Crushing, my house, my job, and after 27 years of marriage my husband walked out after I proved he was communicating with other woman, Monday after Easter. Once I proved he was a liar, he came to our apartment and packed everything. Chapter 9 - 12, has helped me understand the process of what I am going threw. I bought the book Thursday and went threw a Purge on Friday and although I am hurt my husband walked, God have me a strange peace inside. I don’t cry about my situation like I had been. But I did not read the book until a few hours after the Purge on Friday. This book sums up my entire life up until now, for real. TD Jakes, has gone threw what I have, he has suffered great losses to know and sum up my life of 51 years, so far. This book helped me to understand my life and letting me know I will make it and not go crazy. Mr. TD Jakes, thanks for being obedient and sharing your experience, I have your book on my phone and I am buying another copy paperback. Every Christian who is failing at everything for no good reason and things just do not make sense, buy the book.
