Now Briggs begins an extraordinary new series set in Mercy Thompson’s world—but with rules of its own.
INTRODUCING THE ALPHA AND OMEGA NOVELS...
Anna never knew werewolves existed until the night she survived a violent attack…and became one herself. After three years at the bottom of the pack, she’d learned to keep her head down and never, ever trust dominant males. But Anna is that rarest kind of werewolf: an Omega. And one of the most powerful werewolves in the country will recognize her value as a pack member—and as his mate.
This book picks up immediately after Alpha and Omega, and Charles and Anna are recovering from what just happened at the Chicago pack. You need to read Alpha and Omega before you read this one.
Charles was wounded in Alpha and Omega by silver bullets, and it plays a big part in this story. It impedes his ability to fight, but his injuries also help bring him and Anna together.
I’ve loved that we got so much more of Bran in this story. He is always relegated to a supporting character in the Mercy Thompson series, and there is just so much there to tell. He is still a supporting roll in this book, but we get a lot more of his story.
Cry Wolf, wasn’t what I was expecting at all. First off I didn’t read the blurb I just purchased it. But the danger action and plot kept me listening late into the night. Witches are evil in the “Mercyverse”
I am rating Cry Wolf 5 Boundless stars. It was an excellent story and fantastic audio.
