Great Book too bad there’s no PDF for the figures
Well this is a great book I struggle to understand some of the concepts but feel I have a good grasp more than your average Joe but I’m really disappointed it did not come with a PDF for the Figure diagrams in the book
I love penrose
I love that penrose doesnt try to dumb down his books for the public. The book is challenging but that is good. The good thing about an audiobook is that you can simply listen over and over until you get it all. Apple does need to improve its system of providinf the accompanying pdf that is supposed to come woth this book. It even says so in the description. Honestly, i think you really ought to get the ibook and the audiobook in the one purchase. The pdfs do download on my macbook when i download the audiobook there; however, i usually use my ipad and it seems like the pdf is lost or never downloaded on the ipad. I will download this book on my macbook to see if i get the pdf i am supposed to have and yes you really need especially for this book. But that is not penrose's fault, that is apples fault. Ive already contacted tim cook regarding weveral issues with itunes and i books. Im really shocked they arent on top of this because its been a problem for a long time. Hopefully, they will fix it soon. Yes, i just downloaded it on my macbook and then searched my computer for digital book and the pdf was downloaded automatically. from the computer you can email to yourself to recieve it on an iphone or ipad but this should be easier ... it should be set up to download on the ipad under "pdfs" in ibooks automatically
