Publisher Description
When his ship is torpedoed by a German U-Boat during World War I, a man is taken prisoner by the Germans. Later, he escapes from the U-Boat to the sea, where he discovers a vast body of land, previously submersed on the Pacific Ocean floor, recently ripped from it through some geological upheaval, and bearing evidence that a highly intelligent, monstrous, race shares dominion of the Earth with humanity, and for the moment exercising it's rule only on the ocean floor. But how long will these beings be content only ruling the oceans?

Unbearable
Trust me - The over-the-top, inappropriate sound effects, and the same, repetitive inflection in the reader's voice, trying to build suspense on every word, mundane or not, make this unlistenable. While it's incredibly short, I could never get myself to actually finish listening to this version. Go to Audible, or buy a collection, rather than purchase this.
