Frozen In Time
After the Stonewall Riots and before the arrival of AIDS, there was this remarkable window when the gay community first emerged from the shadows. That’s when this book was written, before the Walkman, CDs, DVDs, and home PCs. A modern book written on a typewriter that captures a very specific era and audience. That’s me fershur, a Boomer who gained fame for elaborate parties in Fire Island Pines. Highest praise for this unique literary contribution. No one could write about that brief era so accurately, or daringly. The narrator does a terrific job too.
