He argues, convincingly, that learning disabilities like dyslexia and ADHD can be beneficial for some—and that students who excel at mediocre universities are at an advantage over students who coast at prestige schools. As with previous books like Outliers, Gladwell marshals historical anecdotes, real-life case studies, and scientific research to back up his conclusions. His soothing, conversational delivery makes complicated ideas digestible even for those of us who lack a background in educational theory.

Brilliant from the start. Rethinking common misconceptions. The inverted U. You wont regret this listen. Very thought provoking.
Speaks to the Winner in all of us.
All we need is the Vision of what makes us strong in our own unique way.
That Vision gave me joy in what I do — and then I discovered this book, which validated my Vision of my purpose in life, and sharpened my focus to discard what would dissipate my efforts and effectiveness.
Author went out of his way to use the ‘N’ word.
I understand the picture the author wanted to paint but he unnecessarily used a quote containing the word n*gger. He goes on to do what many authors now do which is recount the stories of others. That’s what this is…a series of stories.
