Deadlock
I am an avid reader and loved this book. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish and I could not wait to get back to the audiobook to finish the story.
What is lower than 1 star?
I have never heard a more conflicted audiobook in the last 1,200 I've listened to. With hope against hope I waited for it to finally get off the launch pad. The main and supporting characters were suspended in doubt and emotional conflict with themselves and one another throughout the story. The dialogue almost brought tears to my eyes. Perhaps this would have been a better read in hard copy. Iris Johansen really needs to refund me $23 for listening to this drivel.
