But even as he found success, he knew in his heart that he wasn’t being honest with himself. When Colton finally found his way to living openly as a gay man, he knew that his journey was not about following his ambition. It was a search for self-love and acceptance. 
 
Last fall, Colton and his husband welcomed home their son, Bishop, and their lives were forever changed. Nobody could have warned Colton about the new kind of love that filled their home. It was instant and all-encompassing, built on the foundation of self-love that Colton cultivated for himself as he worked through his own obstacles. 
 
As Bishop approaches a year old, Colton wants to reflect on this experience of new fatherhood in the form of DEAR BISHOP, an audio letter about his son’s first year of life and the path that led him there.
