Seth has led the Immortal Guardians for thousands of years. With them fighting by his side, he has protected humans from psychotic vampires, defeated corrupt mercenary armies, defended military bases under attack, and more. But the latest enemy to rise against the Immortal Guardians has proven to be a formidable one, wielding almost as much power as Seth. His goal is simple. He wants to watch the world burn. And he will use every means at his disposal to accomplish it. Seth and his Immortal Guardians have succeeded thus far in staving off Armageddon despite heartbreaking losses. But they have never before faced such danger.

I could hardly wait for this book! I’ve been waiting so long for Seth’s book. Yet I was somewhat nervous about starting it. You know how in a series there’s a character that’s bigger than life? Almost like there’s no way anything written for them in their own book will ever live up to how you see them or feel about them. I felt this way about Seth. That didn’t stop me from buying both the kindle book and the audiobook lol. But let me tell you, the author didn’t disappoint! I knew she would hit it out of the ball park. I absolutely loved this book. Words cannot express it. Leah was so perfect for Seth and not afraid to stand up to him or his family. After all, he is very intimidating. I mean, he is someone who can cause the weather to change and kill without touching you. He has also been shrouded in mystery. So after starting the book, then I drug it out going really slow with the audiobook at times just to make it last. It was like that last little bit of Halloween candy you want to make last lol. It was that good! And I laughed so hard through it all. There are some really funny scenes.
As always with this narrator, I can’t speak highly enough for her. She is absolutely fabulous. She can do any voice, male or female in any accent. She has to be my favorite female narrator.
