Action and romance in a stand alone story
I've listened to most of the books in the GHOST series. Like the other books, Defending Isabella is narrated by Rose Dioro and Troy Duran. They both did a fantastic job and I especially liked the Mexican accent of the side characters from Isabella's point of view.
Defending Isabella has action blended with romance consistent with other stories in the series. I especially like that the characters have conversations to work out issues to avoid misunderstandings.
I received a copy of the audiobook at my request, and the opinions here are my own.

PJ Fiala does it again! Pull me into an exciting romantic suspense and keep me pinned til the very end. We finally get Josh to fall for someone! After so many missions, it's about time! But can it be a relationship found the easy way? No! He is going to Travis's wedding, when Matteo goes missing. Little does he know that Isabella, Matteo's sister is going to be by his side every step of the way to find him. Danger and thrills go along with this as life is never clean cut. But we do get affairs of the heart and it's wonderful. Isabella is quite a woman! She is an amazing doctor, and her reasons for being in the states is for her family. She also shows true loyalty which is great character. Josh we know is fantastic. Brave, clear headed and strong, he is the consummate ghost. And as his love grows, we see just how deeply he feels. Rose Dioro and Troy Duran continue their narrations of this series and I can't say enough good things about this team. Both understand their characters and bring out the best for each of them. Dioro nails her accents in this too! Love them both and always enjoy their performances.
