This book contains Freud's interpretation of the dreams in Wilhelm Jensen's Gradiva. Freud contends the protagonist's dreams stem from the delusions resulting from returning repressed memories. Freud interpreted Norbert's dreams as anxiety dreams with fearful content that corresponds to a libidinous emotion.
