We adored the sumptuous language that made this audiobook feel like a portal into the most moneyed neighborhoods in L.A. Good but heartbreaking
There are some tough themes running through this book. There are a few slow parts (in my opinion) but overall a good book.
Thought-provoking
I am not a black woman, but I can appreciate what they through and their thoughts and feelings about it!
I really like how this book was put together, the way the story evolved was really great! I wasn’t sure at first what was going on, not until I got just a little bit into it and it all came together for me.
What a wonderful, thought-provoking story, I would, definitely recommend!
