Discipline for the Young Child

All children need limits, and that means discipline. But it doesn't always have to mean spankings. One technique the National Parenting Center experts suggest is giving your child a "Time-Out." But what do you do when that doesn't work? When is it time to close a child's door, and what do you do if your child runs away, or bites, or throws a temper tantrum?
