A Sequel that Surprised Me
After giving The Girl in 6E 3 stars, I was hesitant to continue the series. While I enjoyed the premise of the first book, I felt there was so much focus on the sexual content that it made it difficult for me to really connect with the characters.
I’m glad I decided to read Do Not Disturb because it far exceeded my expectations. The suspense was stronger, the story moved at a much better pace, and I found myself much more invested in the characters and the outcome. It still has mature content, but it felt more balanced with the thriller elements that drew me to the series in the first place.
If you were on the fence after the first book like I was, I’d recommend giving this sequel a chance. I actually enjoyed it much more than its predecessor.
