A Creepy Tale That Sneaks Up on You (But Trips at the End)
This short story sneaks up on you with a thought-provoking message, poking at your brain with deep philosophical questions about selfishness and human nature—especially in moments of fear and crisis. It’s more ‘creepy lurking in the shadows’ than ‘jump-scare screamfest,’ but the sense of ominous tension keeps you engaged from start to finish. The story's eerie atmosphere and compelling themes make it well worth a listen. However, the ending? Yeah, it stumbles a bit, like it tripped over its own shoelaces right at the finish line and could’ve been more effectively phrased.
