Excellent Romance
Dr. Perfect is the slow burn romance featuring Ellie, who takes a temporary job as an administrative receptionist in a medical office after her boyfriend of ten years breaks up with her and leaves her moneyless and homeless, and Dr. Zachary Cove/Zach, a new gastroenterologist who is setting up a new private practice but secretly wants to be a book author. Zach spends a great deal of time in his office writing, but Ellie is curious about what he is doing in his office since he has no patients. As Zach tries to live between two occupations he and Ellie learn more about each other especially when they find themselves stranded in his cottage in Scotland. Louise Bay has written another excellent romance with strong emotions, situational humor, fun self-talk and banter, emotional healing, and a slow burn steamy passion. I found the Dr. Perfect audiobook narrators’ portrayal of the characters and their emotions to be wonderful and highly enjoyable.

Paging the doctor
Upset with his career path, Zach is thinking about making some changes. He is tired of being a doctor as it isn’t what he really wants to do. His whole family basically are in the field so he had to go in as well. Enter Ellie, his new assistant for his practice. She’s funny and recently single. They end up getting stuck together in a cabin and learn more about one another. This was a great quick read that didn’t disappoint whatsoever. I got to know each of them to the fullest and loved every second of it.
