Pretty good!
Had to read this for a class, but hate reading if I’m forced to. The reader was pretty good for a 1 dollar audiobook, my only complaint is that her accent work was a little spotty at times. I also didn’t love when they said “end of chapter ***” and then immediately say “beginning of chapter ***”. It took me out of the story a bit. But, it’s literally a dollar so how much can I really complain. Honestly the content of the book was really good. It was a bit creepy and sparked morbid curiosity. I could see why the book has been a classic. I don’t feel like the book was hard to listen to at all, and didn’t feel dry. Be aware, it may feel like the tone shifts about 1/4 of the way through, but it’s only for like one chapter. Then it’s back to spooky.
TLDR: Great book, pretty good reader. Worth the dollar.
