Classic Story
I enjoyed the book, but the narration leaves much to be desired. Being able to hear clearly the narrator swallowing and breathing is quite distracting. Could also hear birds chirping and doors opening/closing in the background.
It’s decent, worth the price
Her voice isn’t what I would want for the story. It’s wholesome and soothing rather than commanding or at all ominous. Word of warning, you can hear when she sips water and turns the page. She also pronounces the WH in white and what (like Stewy from family guy saying cool Whip). So if it’s annoying to you, I advise against this audiobook.
Cheap, but not without reason
I mean, it’s only a dollar, but be warned that she pulls in deep, very audible breaths after most sentences and it gets very annoying to hear. If I could go back, I’d probably pay for a more professional production.
