Dream of the Wolf

This is an Apple Books audiobook narrated by a digital voice based on a human narrator.

In this short story, Selphie awoke in a sealed room surrounded by ladders.  On the bed next to her is a white wolf.  He has promised not to EAT her, but she doesn't believe him.  Wolves can't climb trees or ladders.  She could leave him there, but what will she find on the upper floors to send her back down to the wolf who swears he isn't hungry?
