This was my first experience with both this author and this narrator. I have not read many MC books, but I enjoyed this book and yes, it involved an MC, but it was about more. It was about life outside of the MC. It involved so many scenarios. Are Duke and Shanna related? He's almost 40 and she's only early 20's. Not really a generation gap, since they are the children of best friends, but yet the age difference will factor in.
Duke and Shanna have so many things to work through in order to be together. Will they be able to? In addition, they have to work through past history and memories. Will they come back to haunt them or will they be able to move on?
I loved Rodney Falcon's portrayal of Duke and the different members of the MC. I loved Meat. He is the best "uncle" a girl could ask for, even if he is smothering. I have pictures of these guys in my head and I would laugh at some of the scenes. Well done Mr. Falcon.

I loved everything about this audiobook.
Duke is a Must Read! Jax is a talented author who captured these characters, situations and emotions perfectly. Duke and Shanna’s story may not be your typical Cinderella fairytale, but it’s their fairytale. This MC fairytale is full of unexpected ups and downs, twist and turns that bring the two of them closer together in the end. Duke is a bad boy Alpha Male every woman could fall in love with. Shanna is a strong independent woman who wants nothing more than to graduate college and get away from the “club life”. Duke and Shanna are meant to be from the second they first make eye contact. The road to happiness isn’t always easy nor does it always work out the way you planned. Duke and Shanna face obstacles that would destroy most relationships but these two keep fighting for what they want.
The narration for this book was outstanding. Rodney did a fantastic job capturing the emotions of each character and situation. I think he was the perfect voice for the job of Duke - Creed MC: Book 1.
Amazing first audio it's a must listen.
With the story Jax wrote and the narration by Rodney it's enough to make any girls panties melt. Rodney brings to life the characters that Jax put so much hard work into writing. Each character has their own voice and it is easy to follow along. Duke and Shanna go through many obstacles to be together but in the end love wins. Thank you Jax and Rodney for popping my audio book cherry.
