A transformational journey through Italy, India, and Bali searching for pleasure and devotion—the massive bestseller from the author of The Signature of All Things
This beautifully written, heartfelt memoir touched a nerve among both readers and reviewers. Elizabeth Gilbert tells how she made the difficult choice to leave behind all the trappings of modern American success (marriage, house in the country, career) and find, instead, what she truly wanted from life. Setting out for a year to study three different aspects of her nature amid three different cultures, Gilbert explored the art of pleasure in Italy and the art of devotion in India, and then a balance between the two on the Indonesian island of Bali. By turns rapturous and rueful, this wise and funny author (whom Booklist calls “Anne Lamott’s hip, yoga- practicing, footloose younger sister”) is poised to garner yet more adoring fans.

Eat, Pray Love (d it)
This book was phenomenal! From start to finish. I disagree with previous statements that the author was self-centered. How can you judge self-centeredness when reading a book written about that person? It is supposed to be centered on her and no one else because it is about HER journey.
Definitely makes you wish you could do the same things!
Eat Pray Love
I have purchased many audiobooks and this one is my favorite so far. During the book, I felt as if I was on the journey with Elizabeth. I think I even gained a few extra pounds while Elizabeth descirbed her adventure in Italy. I experienced despair, hope, desire, adventure, insight, peace, humility and love.
Eat, Pray, Love
This fabulous book really made me think about my own life (of course thats why I purchased it in the first place). If you are "in-between" chapters in your life or if your having a difficult time just "living", this is a fantastic book to open your eyes to meditation and self discipline. I highly recommend this book. I have listened to it many times while driving and traveling. It has helped me with the difficulty of moving forward in life instead of sitting stagnant and miserable.
Hope this helps. Definately worth the $$
