Publisher Description

A lonely, friendless but brilliant girl, eighteen-year-old Celia is to be found on her extraordinarily wealthy father's yacht, anchored in the Caribbean Sea.

As she sits there with the warm, salty breeze blowing through her hair, she takes stock of her life so far.....'At this latitude,

I can almost see all of the constellations and planets in the northern and southern hemispheres.

Sometimes I feel like I'm actually from the stars, as though I truly belong out there. It's wishful thinking on my part no doubt, but I can't help but wonder, especially when I hear those strange echoes.'

The strange echoes Celia is hearing are echoes from a life in Atlantis.

raevyn8099 ,

Good storyline but….

Storyline was interesting and definitely unique. Book just kind of abruptly ends without any real wrap up or resolution. I get that there will probably be another book, but each book needs to have a subplot of some sort that has some kind of resolution rather than just the main plot. The ending needs work since there isn’t really a subplot that gets resolved. There was no transition, epilogue, etc. it just ends in the middle of things.

The narrator has a great voice, but mispronounced several words badly enough that I had to use context clues to actually figure it out. Sinuous was sinious, sigil was sigh-gul, disheveled was dis-heveled, etc. Very distracting.

The other problem I had was that she was used repeatedly when referring to Elijah. Not every time, but still fairly consistently.

Has a ton of potential though and the storyline makes the listen worth it.
