Echoes of You: The Lost & Found Series, Book 2 (Unabridged‪)‬

This book had my heart, so much emotions were built into this book. Best friends, a feeling of love not being returned, this book takes you on a ride through the past into the now of how love doesn't quit and evolves. I loved the suspense. This book took my heart. Catherine Cowles has an amazing ability to dig into your soul and make you feel like you are there, in that moment, with those couples. A MUST READ!

This was such an enjoyable listen! I always enjoy this author’s writing and she has became a one click author for me! Small town with some suspense is delightful.

Nash and Maddie have been besties since childhood and although friends to lovers is not typically a favorite read, this story was done well. It was intriguing and kept my interest from the the first page to the last. Maddie and Nash were a dynamic match and I thoroughly enjoyed how their story unfolded. The Hartley family is a fun bunch and there is so much love and support among them. Already looking forward to the next sibling’s book!

Narrators Erin Mallon & Jason Clarke were exceptional to listen to! I loved the way they voice these characters and drew me into the story even more with their performance.

Echoes of You is book two in Catherine Cowles’ Lost & Found series. I was delighted to revisit Cedar Ridge and catch up with Catherine Cowles’ amazing characters. I love a heart-melting friends-to-lovers romance. Catherine has a magical way of tapping into the heartache and deep longing that comes from unspoken love between friends. The epic satisfaction of two characters finally setting aside their insecurities to admit their decades-long feelings is tangible. Nash Hartley is a compassionate, pining, crunchy cinnamon roll. As a small-town cop and search & rescue volunteer, he has the protective book boyfriend title locked in. Maddie is a cautious, witty, enchanting sweetheart. She is on the run and returns to Cedar Ridge seeking a safe haven and a fresh start. I loved the way the Hartleys welcomed her back into their lives without skipping a beat. This small-town, big family series warmed my heart.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon audiobook in my ears, and what a delight it was! This duo is an all-time favorite of mine! Their storytelling styles, pacing, and characterizations complement each other perfectly! Erin’s captivating portrayal of Maddie was heartbreaking, hope-filled, and sweet. Jason’s amiable, charismatic persona flowed into his narration of Nash flawlessly. Erin and Jason brought Maddie and Nash’s love story to life with gripping, passionate, and heartfelt performances. If you enjoy small-town romantic suspense, get the Lost & Found series in your ears immediately!
