When you’re married to a man who changed the world, you’ve got some tales to tell. In this revealing memoir, Priscilla Presley tells the story of their entire relationship, from when they began dating in 1959 (when he was 24 and she was only 14) through their 1967 marriage to their separation in 1972. Presley tells her tale simply and straight from the heart, covering all the hot topics from her years with the King. Their early courtship; Elvis’ relationship with his dad; his extramarital activities (and hers), including his fling with Hollywood sex symbol Ann-Margret; his drug use; the birth of Lisa Marie—she puts it all out there and owns both the good and the bad. Honest, raw, authentic!
What an amazing recount of the most iconic relationship of the our time. I listened to this with my husband and our only thoughts were “I wish this book never ended” we could’ve listened for hours and hours… this is an amazing story of a young girl willing to do anything for love. She didn’t hold back in her writing, making the reader feel like they were actually there. Well done, highly recommend!
Great read if you love Elvis
I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. I was surprised to learn some of these things about Elvis and it puts him in a different light- not always in a good way- but definitely in a human way.

Eye opener of how he groomed Priscilla. How could her parents allow a 14 year old to have any kind of relationship. Unfortunately, her reading really became annoying with a silly little laugh, at intervals. What a sad relationship
