Emily: Friends to Lovers

When passion takes over, you bury your brains in the dirt.”

That’s a rough translation of the Yiddish maxim that Emily butchers when she’s trying to explain to Logan how physical attraction can overpower common sense.

Both of our protagonists take the stage with the wrong partners—a single dimension holds these shaky relationships together. Logan and Emily are facilitators in one of the university’s most popular courses, “Human Sexuality”. They may think that they are experts, but they soon realize that giving advice isn’t the same as having wisdom.

It slowly dawns on Logan and Emily that the best sex happens when other factors are involved, and that good friends truly do make the best lovers.
