Derrick Kelley's life was going according to plan, until one evening, walking home together with his wife Emma and young son Adam, a block from his Manhattan apartment, a tragic wreck steals them away leaving him instantly and utterly alone.

World upended, Derrick vacillates between a wish to persevere and succumbing to the allure of rage-fueled revenge; placing trust in his family to help him reestablish a place in the world or striking out on his own and attempting to will the demons away.
