Publisher Description
Knives Out and Clue meet Agatha Christie and The Thursday Murder Club in this “utterly original” (Jane Harper), “not to be missed” (Karin Slaughter), fiendishly clever blend of classic and modern murder mystery.
“A witty twist on classic whodunits… Stevenson not only 'plays fair,' he plays the mystery game very, very well.” -- Maureen Corrigan, Washington Post
Everyone in my family has killed someone. Some of us, the high achievers, have killed more than once. I’m not trying to be dramatic, but it is the truth. Some of us are good, others are bad, and some just unfortunate.
I’m Ernest Cunningham. Call me Ern or Ernie. I wish I’d killed whoever decided our family reunion should be at a ski resort, but it’s a little more complicated than that.
Have I killed someone? Yes. I have.
Who was it?
Let’s get started.

Customer Reviews
Good
Good narration- the book was good, but the book was not finished in my opinion— I wanted to know more about the villain. I suppose the author has the right to give a blanket motive for the villain— but it was not enough for me. Nonetheless, the pace, the tone, and overall characters were great.
Entertaining
Will explore more from the author.
Just not grabbing me
I’ve made it into chapter 2, and the author and his brother characters simply leave me cold. I don’t like them. I want to, but find them to be too psychologically lacking. By that, I mean that they have a sociopathic feel to them (especially the brother) that prevents me from wanting to invest time or caring into discovering their outcome. Others may love this book, but it’s not a good fit for me.
